Prayer Saturday

Pastor Nelson is inviting everyone to join our Prayer Saturday beginning September 5, 2020. From thereon, every 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, PNelson will open our CityLight Zoom ID from 7pm-8pm for anyone who would like to have some prayer time. Thank you!

Announcements for July 24

1. Today is Men and Women Time. So please join us by 11:45am. Log in our CityLight Zoom ID and wait for the host to get you into your respective groups. Thank you.
2. Please join us to witness and celebrate our dear sister Georgina Lau’s Water Baptism today at 11:15am. The Zoom ID we will be using is 784 580 728.
3. August 9, 2020, is Children’s Sunday! We hold this special Sunday once a year. This is going to be a COMBINED SERVICE and it will start by 10:30am. So please join us in the church sanctuary for this special worship Sunday.

Announcements for July 19

1. On July 26, our dear sister Georgina Lau will be baptized in water. This will happen in the church sanctuary at around 11:15am. Please join us to witness Georgina’s public declaration of her faith in our Lord Jesus. Log in to our ZOOM ID 784 580 728 by exactly 11:15am. PTL!
2. By August 2, 2020, our Children’s Sunday Worship will resume their Sunday physical gathering at church. Because of safety concerns, we are only able to accept children 6 years old and above. Parents need to provide masks for their kids. We also want to encourage parents to join their kids in case we are short of volunteers. Reopening phase 1

PTL! As the State of Rhode Island slowly but carefully takes steps in reopening, our church will start receiving brothers and sisters who want to attend our Sunday worship services beginning July 5, 2020, at 10:00 am. 25% of our chapel’s capacity is permitted by the state for physical attendance. So, at the moment, we are allowed to have 20 people in our chapel. If you want to be part of this 20, please email Pastor Nelson at nelestradacitylight@gmail.com as early as possible. Please wait for a confirmation email before going to church on the Sunday of July 5. We will do this procedure with the succeeding Sundays until restrictions on church capacity ease further. 1. We would like to invite everyone to join our National Day of Prayer on May 7, Thursday, 7:00pm. Please log into our Zoom account 8585769274. Let us grab this opportunity to join with the many Christians in the US and around the world – praying most especially on this COVID 19 pandemic.
2. We have Sunday school today, 11:45am. Our topic for discussion is from Luke 2:22-40. Please take down notes from PNelson’s Sunday morning worship sermon and share some important lessons for discussion during our Sunday School time.
